"I understand password can't be recovered" checkbox is still shown in change password flow

Open VolodLytvynenko opened this issue 6 months ago • 2 comments

Problem:

The onboarding flow was previously simplified, and the "I understand password can't be recovered" checkbox was removed in the updated design (Figma link). However, this checkbox is still visible in the change password flow, which is inconsistent. It should be removed there as well

Steps:

  1. Go to Profile
  2. Tap Change Password
  3. Enter and repeat a new password

Actual result:

"I understand password can't be recovered" checkbox is shown

Expected result:

"I understand password can't be recovered" checkbox is NOT shown

OS:

IOS, Android

ENV:

Nightly 19 May, 2025

Thank you @VolodLytvynenko for creating this issue. It looks like we also need to update design files - (settings variant still have this checkbox)

Note: If anyone else picks this issue, please try to reuse screen/components from on-boarding flow to avoid this issue in future.
