@jujubeja thank you for reporting! May I ask you what data are you using on your devices (i.e. how many chats / communities / contacts do you have) and do you have PN service enabled?

I've only added the official Status communities, and my phone keeps getting hotter and hotter
@churik whenever possible, can the QA team verify this overheating problem in a standard GrapheneOS installation? If the issue can't be reproduced, let's close the issue as not planned.
Test Environment
- App Version: nightly 19.05
- OS: GrapheneOS Android 15
- Device: Pixel 7A
- Monitoring Tool: CPU-Z
Test Scenario
Performed ~10 minutes of active usage:
- Joined 3 communities
- Fetched history of several communities
- Opened "Discover" tab
- Sent / received messages in 1-1 chat and community chats
Results
- Before test: 35.0°C
- After 10 min usage: 34.6°C
Conclusion
No signs of overheating were observed on Pixel 7A under similar usage conditions. The temperature remained stable and well below the reported 40–50°C range.
Thanks @churik. Which app version you used? In the comment it says nightly 19.05, which version is that?
