Issue with Vimeo videos

Calling any vimeo video, the console will output something like: GET file://vimeo.com/api/oembed.json?format=json&url=

the file:// shouldn't be there, right?

The error only happens if you test locally, right?

Actually, I remember trying it on a staging environment as well, and same result.

Still, my local development environments for web apps, all have virtual hosts like local.stuff.com and not executing things from localhost/
