Window buttons are shown over text

This is how the app window buttons appear on macOS. Nothing serious, just a graphic annoyance.

@Roccobot just for your information, there is actually another panel on the left. You can drag the left side of Notes panel to reveal it.

Oh, thanks, so it was that. I like to keep everything minimal so I guess I tried to hide the panel on the left by dragging it until a 0 pixel width. Is there any other way to hide that panel?
