Thanks for picking up this project! I had been having a look at the forks of the original lighttiger repo and found this and a couple of others. One fork I noticed that had some development was https://github.com/mazrean/slqls (perhaps @mazrean would like to contribute here), in particular it looks like there may have been a race condition detected in some Makefile enhancements that they fixed in https://github.com/mazrean/slqls/commit/dab8c3acbbbb76d464217a549db5f9cf9c37decc

I really don't know go, so can't comment on the validity, just thought it might be worth pointing out here, so feel free to close if this is invalid.
