Dokuwiki Installation problem with include /usr/share/php

I had to reinstall Dokuwiki after wiping Ubuntu when reinstalling Windows in another partion - dual boot. Anyway, I have installed dokuwiki and php and tested that the Apache web server works with the Apache test page and PHP test page, but I get the following error in the Apache2 error log when trying to run install.php. It refers to the include file /usr/share/php but there is no such file on my system, just /usr/share/php8.1-common so I created a symbolic link to the former but still get this error. Please help.
