Mouse over tooltip font is too small

There's some wasted space in the box around it and the interline spacing could be reduced if size of the tooltip area is the concern.

The font size is actually the default for the UI toolkit, so it's widely used. Is there a rationale for believing it too small?

I don't believe reducing either of those would make the tooltips appear better - sometimes "whitespace" is important for clarity.

The font does appear significantly smaller (perhaps 30-40%) than all other text for me also.

Could this problem be caused by the use of Constantia as a font in the Windows version? I don't know the names of the fonts in Ubuntu Desktop, but they are much easier to read than Windows.
