Hello @captainwasabi,

When working on the 3.3 beta builds previously, an issue (https://github.com/sonic-pi-net/sonic-pi/issues/2598) was identified with the portable builds. It was never fully resolved, and we would like this to happen before reinstating an official portable build. I'd recommend following up with the person who had been maintaining the portable build (SCCMentor) over in that issue, to see if there's anything they can do about resolving it.
