Windows UWP subpixel font antialiasing
Would be really useful to have some mode to just force-enable Clear-type or Freetype (Windows/Ubuntu style) subpixel font antialiasing for Windows 11 (and 10) in UWP/ WinUI apps. Even just for UWP Settings/Explorer parts would be good enough. Since still a lot of new laptops and displays are below 150DPI (including most 21:9), and more parts are moving to UWP/WinUI, and grayscaled text looks bad there. I've tried release version of MacType, and currently most modes there provide "blurry" mac-style font looks, and work only for Win32 apps (tried on Win 11 laptop and Win 10 1809 VM). Interestingly, MS Edge and MS Windows Terminal app use UWP/WinUI and support subpixel text rendering setting in latest versions. Update: I also tried enabling settings for DirectWrite , but it doesn't seem to make any difference on UWP.
