If not provided in configuration.

Can be based on:

  • public IP -> Not very reliable
  • Wifi MAC adresses -> Only if Pi3 or other Pi with wifi dongle. (https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/geolocation/intro)
  • public IP + OGN receiver selecting only strong signals
  • Listen to GSM signal thanks to RTLSDR https://lemnet.fr/blog/post/interception-passive-sans-imsi-catcher-et-decodage-de-flux-gsm-avec-gr-gsm + Google geoloc.
