Volume Control Missing Initially

I'm not sure if this a design choice, or a bug, or something at my end, but every time I set up a Plyr video the volume control is missing.

If you skip to a different point in the video (while playing or stopped), the video control appears again. I've noticed it is the same on the demo page as well.

I've tried changing options but I can't get it to ever show up initially.

I can confirm this. Strangely, it does not work for video as source only.

For audio and streaming it displays volume controls right away (I don't take into account youtube and vimeo, they are really different).

I'd need to have a closer look at the issue. Thank you for reporting!

The issue is really weird.

Sometimes it shows the controls, sometimes does not.

It somehow is connected to amount of videos on the page, if I leave only one it simply always shows the volume controls.

I can't really say anything here. That's somewhere inside of the plyr...
