The problem is that Android has no way to do that (or else we would have done so from day one) without using a custom filepicker which in turn causes...

It might be possible to rename the file after the data has been saved (I need to check that), which has the downside that the user wouldn't see the actual...

Seems as if the policy goes in to force on Sep 18th now (with extension possible).

I added a statement 2 weeks or so back, there was no feedback about that, so the assumption is that it will be reviewed for the next update.

No feedback from google up to this point in time, possibly the fun will start May 28, 2025, or maybe January 22, 2025.

Closing this as google hasn't complained up to now. This will probably jinx things ....
