Occasionally/Frequently fails to redirect to sites

I like this extension due to its small size and interface. However, frequently this extension is showing error/do not load when opening shortlinks from LinkedIn and Twitter etc. Please fix that. Also, uBlockOrigin settings might have something to do with this issue. Also, this extension should show the original site link before moving by clicking or auto-redirecting to the site. This is a non-techy guy comment.

The extension should not auto redirect, except if you activate that in the settings. Are you experiencing a different behavior?

Sometimes the upstream servers of an url are down and can not be checked by unshort.link as of why a redirect is not possible

I choose the auto redirect settings. That wasn't my concern of submitting this issue though. For auto redirect, I just only hope it shows the original site link before auto redirecting. that's all.

Main concern was: some sites/links are not opening. And, still I'm facing the issue. Therefore, uninstalled it thinking that developer might have left the project. I tested the site with other url unshorten extension and they worked well, no issue; therefore switched to them. Again, I like your extension bcz of the interface.
