Problem description
I have an automation to set my hot water temp, but this no longer works as of today. Error message below.
Logs
Fehler: 404, message='Not Found', url='https://api.vaillant-group.com/service-connected-control/end-user-app-api/v1/systems/66916eb8-69ff-42c4-b053-6f42bfe8877f/tli/domestic-hot-water/255/temperature
Could you attach full debug logs, please? The same exact query still works fine on my end, so I need more info.
Thanks for your reply. The problem resolved itself after a few days without any changes on my end, so maybe it was a Vaillant issue.
I suspect there are quite a few changes happening to the API right now, i updated the app yesterday and noticed that the hot water boost function didnt actually do anything to the heatpump despite the app indicating it was active. I would bet this is connected to your observation also.
There are definitely changes, the myVaillant integration has been failing constantly for me over the last few days... any time I tried to set a temperature... But the Hot Water Boost in the app was always useless for me. It only works if the hysteresis for hot water has been reached.

@CommanderROR9 so this is still an issue?
I can't really say. I stopped using the myVaillant App and Integration a long time ago since the Vaillant API and Servers were just too unreliable. I have been reading and sending data to the heat pump with an ebusd adapter since. It's not exactly straightforward to set up and also not 100% reliable, but it's good enough for my usecase and has been doing the job for Months now without constant babysitting from my end.
well i never had an issue with hot water,
well yes there where a problem if the heat pump was set to 52C
i use an automation together with the nordpool integration so i can ask for a cylinder boost when electricity is cheapest
if i set the heatpump to 52 and say the water is 45 then it would not heat. and the household are 3 adults so we need to have it go to 52, my fix was to set it to 62 and have HA stop it at 52
but yes there was a period where things failed every now and then, sometimes for a day at a time
