Dismissing the OSK by scrolling results in an extra scroll upon releasing touch

Bug description
As you scroll through chat, once your finger reaches the edge of the on-screen keyboard (OSK) the keyboard starts to get pushed off-screen. Upon releasing your finger, the chat abruptly scrolls a little more for no apparent reason and it is jarring and can be confusing. It should be smooth and seamless like iMessage. This is a small but noticeable QOL issue.
Steps to reproduce
- Scroll through a conversation until your finger fully pushes the OSK all the way closed
- Release your finger
- Observe the sudden and unprovoked extra scroll up
Actual result: The chat suddenly scrolls more than expected which can be mildly frustrating and harms the user experience, as it can be confusing and requires manual re-adjustment.
Expected result: Like iMessage (iOS' default text app) the keyboard should dismiss but the conversation should not be scrolled like crazy. It should be a seamless gesture.
