Consider moving the documentation somewhere better

Currently the documentation lives in the readme, which is not ideal, maybe consider moving it to something like readthedocs.org for better viewablity and access.

What would be involved in doing this?

Hey hey, this is not picked up no. Happy if you do, actually I don't have a domain for it but I would suggest either hosting on GitHub like the current docs but with a better design and usability, or using some tool like readthedocs
