How to make a snap package

So, I have been thinking off making a snap package of this project and keep it in snap stores. (https://snapcraft.io/). There are two problems 1) I don't know how to. 2) And most importantly, do I really need it? I mean, is it easier to use this package via git cloning? If you are reading this issue, do drop a point or help me out, if u are positive. Thanks big time :)
