The app is a black screen on Mac

I don't have a access to Mac to test this, sorry. A quick search of this issue points to Python 3.9 being a possible cause, though I don't know for certain.

That being said, I pretty much stopped using this app after I created a web version of it, so development of it has pretty much stalled. If you want to, you can use the web equivalent of this app here: https://sharkykh.github.io/tppm/

~~Unfortunately, there's currently an issue with both of these apps due to a possible bug on Trakt's service (the list of playback progress items is outdated), but it should work fine once that's resolved.~~
