src/lib/utils.ts is over-ridden on installation

Hello I have just installed the library in an ongoing project and noticed that the library overrides my contents in src/lib/util. This should change to simply appending to the file if it already has content. Thank you.

The same problem applies to most of the files that the cli accesses/creates. Your problem is very similar to this issue, which has already received an answer from shadcn. See this comment.
