Date range picker issues in (and not in) Firefox

I noticed some small issues with the date range picker and I'm too dumb to fix them so hopefully someone else can :D (these screenshots are from the example in the docs)

In Firefox, every selected cell is rounded:

And in browsers other than Firefox, there are some corners sticking out of the first selected cell (it's hard to see but it's there)
