Audio freezes after playing song

Sometimes after playing a song, the audio freezes right at the end of the song in a perpetual state of playing nothing. It doesn't advance to the next song in this case then. If I skip to the next song or toggle play/pause a few times, it breaks the freeze.

I have noticed this too and assumed it was just Rdio trying not to waste bandwidth. Does it happen when opening Rdio in a normal browser?

No it never happens for me in the normal browser (Chrome in this case).

Any ideas on the problem? It's a pretty big nuisance because it happens so frequently.

This is also happening to me pretty regularly. Running Linux Mint 15 x64. It does not happen to me in the browser.

To get it working again, I have to hit the >>| button in the application.

I did some poking around, and it looks like this is a bug between Rdio and WebKit's HTML5 Audio tag. The bug doesn't occur with Flash. Unfortunately, this client doesn't support Flash playback.
