Issues porting Extensity to Firefox
Hi. I'm trying to port Extensity to Firefox (for which purpose I have downloaded and installed Firefox Nightly), but it doesn't seem to (de)activate any Firefox add-ons the same way it works with Chrome extensions.
The offending line of code seems to be in index.html:
<li class="extension" data-sbind="click: toggle, css:{disabled: disabled}"><img width="16px" height="16px" data-sbind="attr:{src:icon}" /> <span data-sbind="text: short_name"></span></li>
I don't know what the Firefox equivalent is, so I'm posting this issue here.

Now if there was a native Extensity for Firefox.. hint hint

+1 for Firefox. Since the move to Webextensions there's nothing like Extensity available.
@sergiokas @sammarcus Please port it to Firefox if possible.
+1 here
@robinhood2014 , do you mind sharing your progress so that others that would love a Firefox alternative will be able to contribute?
Does anyone know of a Firefox alternative?
Currently, there aren't any firefox alternatives for extensity. Firefox does not allow extensions to disable or enable other extensions. The function that does this in their management API is blocked. https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Add-ons/WebExtensions/API/management/setEnabled It can currently be used to enable and disable themes but that's it. in firefox extensions and themes are basically the same on the back end.
“The function allows enabling/disabling of theme addons, but will return an error if used to enable or disable other types of web extension.”
So no way it can come to Firefox. Sad
unless firefox changes their setup.
does anyone know if the firefox team is aware that users want this? i really like to see something like extensity for firefox.
I have seen mentions of it on their forums and security has been cited as the reason for it being restricted. This extension was also mentioned by name. I have a dev friend that was basically like this is stupid.
