Game suddenly keeps crashing

I'm playing ultra moon and have done some small things like editing my money with PKSM prior to using this plugin if that matters. It was working perfectly well until I beat Kahuna Hala, and then afterwards the game would crash seemingly at random after a couple minutes. Right before this, I edited my character's name via the plugin. The weird part is that even after I loaded a backup save before the name change and turned off all of the cheats the game would still randomly crash with the same error. I deleted the plugin from my files entirely and now the issue seems to be gone. I'm not sure what could have caused this, as I wasn't messing with any sensitive data.
