Alarm clock plays both system alarm and radio simultaneously

Open X-dark opened this issue 5 years ago • 6 comments

With the latest release, I now get the system alarm playing on top of the radio each time. As soon as I display the notification drawer, it stops and the radio keeps playing.

I have no connectivity issue, my phone is connected to the WiFi and the radio stream loads quickly.

I suspect #600 being the culprit.

Thank you for the report. 0.81 is just released https://github.com/segler-alex/RadioDroid/releases/tag/0.81, could you try with it?

If it's still an issue, it would help us if you could provide logcat logs from the time the alarm triggers.

I had a case of this with 0.82. I don't have logs though.

Yes I can confirm it is occurring each time on 0.82 as well.

I never got the RadioDroid Alarm reliably working: either it fails or both alarms (system alarm and RadioDroid) were fired. grafik

I'd also like to report that this is happening, using Galaxy Note 8 (Android 9, OneUI 1.0). I get the system alarm and the music at the same time, and sometimes I get nothing at all. I also get system error that alarm failed.

Using 0.84 version

Can confirm this issue with version 0.84 on a Xiaomi Mi 8 (Android 10, LineageOS 17.1).

A possible workaround seems to be to set the “Default alarm sound” in Settings » Sound (» Advanced) to “None.” I could not reproduce the bug, once the default sound was set to none.
