Unable to import m3u playlist

Open Quentin-ctrL opened this issue 3 years ago • 1 comments

Hi,

I tried to import my personal m3u playlist. Tried everything and check RadioDroid export, it adds #RADIOBROWSERUUID:961173b5-0601-11e8-ae97-52543be04c81 before each entry

Is it possible to import m3u ?

It is possible in a way, but it's a bit cumbersome. Every entry has to have the correct entry for #RADIOBROWSERUUID entry, otherwise it will not work.

You cannot import a m3u list that is created with VLC, because the RadiobrowserUUID is missing.

Editing your your m3u playlist is possible if you previously have exported the playlist from your device.

Adding a new entry to your playlist is difficult, because you have to know the correct RadiobrowserUUID.

For that pupose I propose to add the RadiobrowserUUID to the Details in radio-browser.info
