Categorical colors wrongly assigned to points

~Quite high priority because it's blocking before making a release.~ Not blocking a release, the bug was present before and occurred if running .sample() twice.

I replaced the .pp.get_elements() method with .subset() in the merfish notebook, and re-run the notebook, and the points appears colored as if the points indices are shuffled.
