After v2.3.0 I'm getting timeouts to URLs

Not sure how to help diagnose this, but we started getting Timeout Errors after we started using 2.3.0. 2.3.1 doesn't solve the issue either, but downgrading to v2.2.0 works.

Please let me know how I can help here, I can provide partial or obfuscated logs if necessary. I'm also in contact with Zyte's support.

Ideally with a minimal, reproducible example. You can target toscrape.com, and of course leave your API key out.
