wysiwyg at backend broken with this theme

When I use this theme the wysiwyg doesnt format properly, the white background and margins dissapear, the white area is just at the very bottom of the field.

I tried deactivating all plugins but it didnt fix it, then I tried using twenty frounteen and that solved the problem.

What is the plugin you're using for the wysiwyg editor?

Im not using any plugins for the wysiwyg editor, some of the plugins do add extra functionalities like shortcodes but If I deactivate all plugins the problem persists.

Its wordpress 4.2.2

Ok. I'll try and setup a WordPress environment and test this out. Is the screen capture you included what it looks like with the Bootstrap Flat theme installed or without it? Also, does the editor work correctly with just Bootstrap installed? I'm trying to determine if this is a Bootstrap or Bootstrap Flat problem, since Bootstrap Flat really just removes the gradients and rounded corners.

I use a child theme called 'Link', but even If I just use 'flat-bootstrap' as the theme same thing happens.

So far It seems to work fine, its just that somehow the field doesnt look right.

Its kind of weird because first it looks right, but then something loads up and it messes the field, at first I though it was because of something added by a plugin (shortcode).
