I had the same question. Just built a starter setup...great instructions and models. I had some things I thought I could contribute... I made SVGs for laser-cutting the plexi formicarium lids, was thinking of re-designing the screw-holes to support brass inserts, and making new connectors for larger test tubes. Would be happy to contribute back, if maintainer is still tracking the project.

I'm active here, but less so on this project. I keep the repo open though, anyone is welcome to contribute.

I've freed my colonies as well, so I don't have any active colony to test things anymore!

Excellent, @schemen! I've already got some local additions (new connector sizes, SVGs for laser-cutting acrylic lids, etc.) but am currently working on making an outworld that's compatible with the system. I'll submit some PRs once I have everything up and tested. Thanks again for putting this nice setup out there in open source, and providing FreeCAD models of everything. It's been very helpful, even though I'm still a novice with FreeCAD.
