Corrupt MCB chain crash in Mad TV

Thanks for your service to retro gamers everywhere! I have a bug report for you:

DosBox version: 0.9.9 (in RetroArch 1.18.3 on an iPad) Game version: https://archive.org/details/mad-tv Error message upon start: "DOS crashed: Corrupt MCB chain"

Addendum: The game works fine in Windows, so it looks like an iOS-specific issue.

@ulrichsg Can this be tested again with the newly released version 1.0-preview1 available on the RetroArch online core downloader?

Sorry for the delay. Unfortunately, the crash is still occurring in that version.

Unfortunate... I'll have to leave this issue open then. I don't have an iOS device to test this myself, but generally I feel like 64-bit ARM Android or RaspberryPi should be somewhat similar but there is no issues on either of those devices with MadTV. Does the error you get "DOS crashed: Corrupt MCB chain" pop up immediately after launching MTV.EXE? Or does it at least show the language selection? Or some part of the opening sequence?

Mad TV works fine in Pi4.

It happens immediately after launching, the display stays black except for the virtual controller buttons.
