Optitrack Motive Software and Prime 41 Camera System
Hi,
I've recently begun using LSL, and intend to use it with an optitrack setup. I am currently using the Motive software from optitrack, and while the LSL optitrack app successfully identifies the data stream, the LabRecorder crashes as soon as we start recording data, and we are uncertain why this is. Is anyone aware of a fix for this issue?
Additionally, we are using Optitrack's Prime 41 cameras, which are not included as options within the LSL optitrack connector app. Could this be part of the problem?
Thanks!
It is odd that anything would cause labrecorder to crash. I would think that it would be the optitrack app, rather, that crashes. Have you seen any other streams cause labrecorder to crash on your setup? Are you in a position to write a simulation app? I.e. one that sends empty data of the same format with same number of channels and at the same sampling frequency as optitrack?
Thanks for your prompt reply!
We have not yet tested any other streams, but I will explore doing so. The error message we currently receive is that LabRecorder.exe has crashed. We've tested using a few different versions of the LabRecorder from the FTP, but without any different results. We are also not in a position to write a simulation app at the moment, but can look into this. Currently we are running v2.2 of the optitrack app, should this have compatibility with the motive software? If not, are there any patches you might be aware of?
