Same problem here. I just saw the error today: "Nothing to see here - yet When they Tweet, their Tweets will show up here.". I have no error in the console and I'm using the latest version available from npm: 4.0.4.

This issue seems to be resolved by Twitter. However, now we have an issue where the timeline is not displaying latest tweets and displays tweets from yonks ago!

I don't think it's linked to a rate limit issue. If you're logged on twitter in your browser it works.

You can easily reproduce this using private browsing.

I'd say it's most likely linked with cookies.
