Hello! This extension is very useful for me, thank you! Are you plan to add source code highlighting?

I think this is useful! What solutions have you looked into?

The only hope was that if I could select and copy the code from my markdown without having to open the note.

I got here within the last hour by going from "Evernote alternatives" to > "I'll try Google Keep I guess" > "No markdown? :(" > "Right on, here's an extension - I wonder if it'll be any good" > "Backburnered. I'm going to assume that Keep isn't going to be the solution.. What next? Build my own?"

I recommend StackEdit and sync with Google Drive. Closest thing to keeping markdown notes on Google :P

@sasindumendis, thanks for sharing this code. I agree with @hawsome that the ability to cut and paste from the list view (displayed in Markdown) would make a great addition.
