Library of shinyapps for teaching
Just want to throw this out there. One of the things we've been experimenting with is building small shinyapps that help people understand how to explore data.
You can see an example here: https://tladeras.shinyapps.io/categoricalData/#section-the-effect-of-age-on-the-data
I was thinking if there was a way to compile a library of reusable apps for teaching that might be an interesting project. I have several ready to go and would be happy to contribute.
There have been several attempts to build collections of shiny apps for teaching statistics, e.g. https://github.com/huyingjie/Awesome-shiny-apps-for-statistics http://www.showmeshiny.com/
But so far rely on people contributing manually afaik...
Thanks @Pakillo! One thought is maybe there could be an org and people could contribute self-contained apps as folders.
This convo really reminds me of what we have been discussing for #63 here. Shinny apps could easily be an addition to course materials. (Sorry kind of late to this conversation, I just saw this issue :grimacing: )
