Personally I'd like to see this be something minimal, like two spaces, as the default. And the ellipsis could be the optional theming setting.

Oh, also -- this doesn't seem to happen with only "optically align letters" turned on. But with small caps, hanging punctuation, etc. it does change the tags.

I'd also like to see this. Since https://github.com/AOMediaCodec/libavif supports encoding from JPEG, I'm not sure why this implementation of it wouldn't also support them.
