Doc improvements

Hello! After discovering this API, I noticed several typos in the docs. I thought it would help to make some minor improvements for future readers.

Side note: My local machine is running with Node 14.17.4, so I was having some trouble running yarn. I still able to run the "yarn run build:docs", so these static files should be valid. There shouldn't be any problems, but I wanted to throw that out there.
