I didn't like the description of this PR which wrapped the bug report and the fix description in to one. They've been separated out.

UXarray is still working with the YAC folks and there has been some progress there. Its not totally on pause.

@ndkeen the piece of cprnc output you including in the issue doesn't have enough lines. Try "tail -40"

I believe Peter B is on vacation so go ahead and he can make a different fix later if he wants.
