Feature Request: Options to turn off Search String Autofill and Incremental Search

I'm sure these features are great for some people, but they make me crazy. I almost never want my last selected text to be populated in the Search String field and I would really rather not have the view of my code jumping around while I'm typing a search term. Please add options to disable these features. I would be very happy if it's just an INI file entry and my apologies if such options already exist (I searched and found nothing).
