Windows 11, Jumplist, not displaying any text based files in the list when opened.. so I cannot pin them anymore
Not only can I not drag and drop to the taskbar to pin text based files, but the two .txt files I had already had pinned would no longer open.. "The item you have selected is unavailable." and would you like to remove it from the jump list.
currently running beta version, [ Notepad 3 (x64) v5.22.103.1 beta ]
OS: Windows 11 Pro x64, v21H2, build 22000.434 Windows update just released today.
ok just tested the latest release version, Notepad3 (x64) v5.21.1129.1 its still happening.. will test the file-type associations next
another way to say it is the taskbar jump list integration is not working right..

I do not use the installer.. I have always used the zip file method and never had a problem till recently... no issues pinning in Windows 7 or 10

Hi @MelchiorGaspar , Sorry to insist, but to have with version "Windows 11" a replacement of Notepad3 working like with "Windows 7 and 10", it is really necessary to use the latest version of Notepad3 Setup (installer) with the box "Replace Windows Notepad by Notepad3 "checked, because it is necessary to bypass all the changes that Microsoft has made to the registry with its new version of MS Notepad from the Microsoft Store. 😏

I manually change the file type associations with a program called Types.. http://ystr.github.io/types/ works great enough... I do so over NP3's installer because I want greater control over the context menu entries and their labels and icons... .txt .text and .log files can have the NP3 icon but the gear one for .ini and .inf is need for my visual acuity..
