F12 now using by Select Syntax Scheme menu item, i think Select Syntax Scheme can change to shift+F12, 2nd common base to ctrl+shift+F12, leave F12 to last visited window.
F12: Has no standardized function in Windows, every app is free to assign their own functionality here. What is the most common functionality for F12 in Text Editors (non tabbed, single document interface) ?
Maintaining a "Workspace Management" may does make sense for multi-document Source-Code-Editors, but not for Notepad.
