I assume this ticket refers to the tiny-toolbar issue also mentioned (with screenshot) in #3150 .

I've just discovered Notepad3 and installed it on my MS Surface 7 Pro tablet. The tiny toolbar issue is still reproducable (Notepad2 had the same issue).

I'm using Notepad3 (x64) v5.21.1129.1.

It's impossible to use the toolbar on the touch screen of the Surface, and even with the mouse it's hard to use it.

No, this issue refers to the Notepad3 companying application called "minipath(.exe)", used for quick file browsing.

What happens, if doing a "DPI Scale Toolbar" (context menu on free part of toolbar) ?

Thanks for this hint! This indeed fixes the size of the icons. Wouldn't it make sense to activate such an option by default?

The icons as well as the menu bar, on the Surface, are much more squashed than on my PC. The other way around would be much better, to have more space for the touch input, even if it is just a very rare edge use case.
