Can't connect via USB

Open drewpeacock44 opened this issue 4 years ago • 8 comments

When i try to connect via usb it says "The device can't connect to your computer. Please try again." Desktop app version is 1.9.90, mobile app version 1.9.80. Android version is 10 and the phone is a OnePlus 5T. Please let me know what I can do to get the USB connection working.

I am having the exact same problem with the exact same device. Tried adding OBS and Deckboard to Firewall, but that did not allow me to connect my phone to Deckboard.

Have you installed ADB on your computer yet?

What is ABD and where do I download it from?

I installed ADB, Enabled Developer Options, Allowed USB Debugging, turned off the firewall. ADB found the device. No matter what I tried, however, I still end up with: "Uh-oh!" This device can't connect to your computer. Please try again.

Kinda frustrating.

Thanks,

Bryan

I finally was able to get a connection. I went into Task Manager and stopped every occurrence of Deckboard (there were 3 showing). Upon restarting the app I was able to connect via USB for the first time.
