As suggested in https://forums.puri.sm/t/a-nice-free-software-gps-navi-app/5584/64

I had the same issue during my bike trips. When searching for a destination not on my GPX I had to switch between OSM and GPX quiete often and it take some time to labels of the app. I think changing the label would already be of great help.

If I use OSM and want to change to GPX I use the pull down menu in Sailfish and see the label "use OSM"... or "use Stadia" as in the forum thread. I was always wondering why the menu offers me an option, I use already. Instead the label should be something like "change Navigation source" or in case there is only two real options "use GPX"

Name of the menu option has been changed. Internally it is harder to change GPX handling into something "special" as proposed in the link. However, it does make sense to look for GPX under new name, I think. Let's see whether users will be still searching for it

Hopefully, after renaming of the router selection menu, it is more clear now. Closing

The original issue in my opinion still stands, it isn't obvious how to import a GPX file currently.

Searching inside the navigation menu is obvious, having to switch routers isn't (although it makes sense). I like the original possible solution as suggested on the forum thread: adding it as menu option. It isn't a feature that will be so much used that it should be brought to the front, but having it there in the menu is a good middle ground between having it too much in the front and being hard to find.

Is it actually possible to just see the points of in a GPX?
