Feature: Option to Toggle Future State

There is some debate on if a dark mode toggle should show the current or the future state. This is a feature request to add an option to allow the future state to be shown as the icon instead of the current state.

For example, if light mode is active the toggle and icon would display the dark mode state/icon and vice versa.
