Is this compiled with a newer version of librdkafka than the one present on the system? The message complains about an API symbol missing in the library.

Is this the only file monitor configured? Which rsyslog version?

Well, I still see the most important question on number of file monitors (actually full config TBH) unanswered. But upgrading is definitely a good idea.

Forgot: That said, we can add a global flag to be set when rsyslog or a module calls it. It's not bullet-proof, but probably better ;-)
