I am editing a lot of blog posts in parallel (some in idea stage, some drafts, some in progress, some almost done), and it would be great to see them in a vertical list (like treestyletab does for firefox).

#531 (merged recently) implements a directory tree side panel, which can partially satisfy your use case — if you are working on many files that are in the same directory, you can switch between them using that panel.
