For me, this issue was actually caused by #8 which is marked as closed. According to the comment there, I would expect that issue (and this one) to be resolved in 1.0.8 but I still see the same problem as prior to the version release.

To confirm that it was the same issue as in the issue above, I downloaded the file and manually modified the line, after which everything worked like a charm. Heads up that maybe the code didn't publish to npm correctly, @renhongl .
