Describe the bug A clear and concise description of what the bug is.
While using PyCharm, the system freezes up and becomes unusable. I found these errors in the syslog:
Nov 17 09:06:16 shawn-B244 regolith.desktop[2101]: [ 11/17/2022 09:06:16.787 glx_bind_pixmap ERROR ] Failed to query info of pixmap 0x0247bec5. Nov 17 09:06:16 shawn-B244 regolith.desktop[2101]: [ 11/17/2022 09:06:16.787 paint_one ERROR ] Failed to bind texture for window 0x0460057e.
I don't know what is going on here, but the system becomes completely unusable when this happens. Any help is appreciated!

Additional context Add any other context about the problem here.
Have you tried this with a regular Ubuntu session instead of Regolith?
It seems like a regolith problem, since the syslog shows this painting issue coming from regolith.desktop right before it crashes.
Hmm, based on the Ubuntu 20.04, what version of Regolith are you running?
I don't know. How do I find that information?
regolith-diagnostic | grep REGOLITH_VERSION
REGOLITH_VERSION=2.1
What compositor are you running? You can check with apt list --installed | grep regolith-compositor-
regolith-compositor-compton-glx/unknown,now 1.1.4-1regolith amd64 [installed,automatic]
Hello!
I can see similar errors and got similar symptoms on my installation. In my case it seems that what spawning this error is probably teams-on-linux which is running on top of Electron, but I cannot be sure as I don't know how to track down what causes it and there are several other applications running at the freeze time. Can you please help me debugging it? Where should I look for errors other then /var/log/syslog?
Symptoms: After quick black screen flicker screen freezes and is totally unresponsive. I cannot change workspace (nor TTY). It happened before only after waking up screen from screen saving, but now happens also mid normal operation. Sometimes mouse is visible and responsive, but nothing reacts on the mouse clicks.

I suspect this ERROR could not be a cause for this freeze, but I don't know where to look elsewhere :( Any help or pointing me at the right direction would be much appreciated. :)
I hasted with the above comment. Problem in my case was a wrongly configured snap for teams-for-linux. It haven't loaded amdgpu drivers and it was causing screen freezing (sic!) and total unresponsiveness.
I do encounter abovementioned reglith error, though. If you would point me on how to debug it, I can help with resolving it. :)
