Spotify Playing From Web Browser(Chrome Canary) not coming up on the player

I use spotify web browser to play my music as its better for me I set the player to web now playing but it does not pick it up However, windows does recognise that i am playing music and when I use the inbuilt keys to pause,play forward or backward, it does in fact work.

Same here, it works with Youtube and other sites though
