useDimensions is not available on latest version

I am not able to find useDimensions on latest version 3.0.0. Why this was removed? Actually the problem is useWindowDimesions fron RN doesn't send correct width and height when Alert is open on IOS. So can we revert back the removal of useDimensions? I am currently using 2.8.0 in the mean while
